Burleigh Heads is located along the Gold Coast’s 70 kilometre coastline, midway between Coolangatta and Southport, nestled beneath Burleigh Heads National Park.The area is best known for its gently curving protected beach bordered by the National Park in the south and offering magical views to Surfers Paradise in the north.
We have one of Australia’s best surf beaches, a wildlife park, beachfront markets, world-class accommodation with spectacular ocean views and trendy seaside restaurants and cafes.
There’s plenty of shade from the lines of distinctive Norfolk Island Pines and pandanus palms along the foreshore and some great picnic areas with barbecue facilities and playgrounds.
Directly opposite the patrolled beach, Burleigh Esplanade Apartments is one block from public bus transport, 8 kms from the train line to Brisbane, and only 15 kms from the Gold Coast airport. All major theme parks and other Gold Coast attractions including sport and entertainment clubs as well as major shopping centres are within easy driving distance.
Translink operate the public bus service on the Gold Coast. You can walk a short distance to the Gold Coast Highway where the services run frequently between Coolangatta and Southport, if you require timetables please visit reception and we can print out a planner for you to get you where you need to go.

If you require transport to/from Brisbane Airport door to door, we can organise this through Con-X-ion you just need to let us know your flight details and how many people will be travelling and we can do the rest, or alternatively a bus service to Robina or Varsity Lakes Train Station connecting with the Air Train direct to the airport.
