This year entry to the Gold Coast Show will be completely free, making it the perfect family-friendly event for locals and tourists alike.
Run over 3 days, from Friday the 31st of August, until Sunday the 2nd of September 2018, with the Friday being a public holiday for Gold Coasters, there will be plenty to see and do.

After dark the fun will also continue with the traditional fireworks display, plus this year the show will feature a special light festival each night in the Southport CBD, called LuminoCITY.
Most of the events will be held in the Southport Broadwater Parklands with the equestrian program, cattle and dog show being held at Owen Park and the Southport Pony Club, which is around 2.5km away.

All of your favourite Australian TV stars are set to walk the red carpet for the TV Week Logie Awards at The Star Gold Coast on Sunday 1 July.
The Logies are Australia’s premier television awards show and the biggest and most glamorous red carpet event. TV Week founded the awards in 1958, so 2018 marks their milestone 60th year.
The Logies have been held predominantly in Melbourne, with the Gold Coast now the events new home. The awards ceremony includes national and international entertainment and is broadcast free to air on Channel 9.
If you’re lucky enough to be attending this event, you will see the “most popular” TV stars in their categories being presented with their Logie awards. The public can vote online for their favourite celebrities, actors and programs from Friday, 29 June until the red carpet telecast ends on 1 July.
